Almost $30,000 Paid Off in Just Two Months!

This week’s edition of the Success Corner comes from Kory Koontz’s students, Anie and Joly. They have an amazing story, coming from $2Million in debt, and paying down almost $30,000 in just two months. When we bought the TDIW program in late June, we wanted to do anything to get out of debt. We have a beautiful home,
everything we need, only one problem: we are in big time debt, close to $2,000,000. We wanted to get rid of this debt load so that we can be really be independent. We work really hard, make money and pay our debtors each month, month after month, with out any end in sight. We were actually thinking about what we can do to reduce debt and started to pay off debt and stopped using credit cards for purchases even before we bought the TDIW program. You showed us the right way to tackle this problem and way to financial independence.
What I learned from this tutoring is how to save my hard earned money by spending the money wisely. Now we ask ourselves before any purchases whether we need this right now or we can delay its purchase or completely avoid it. We want to increase our net worth and save money for our children's education and our retirement. We are planning to save for an emergency fund. We learned that every dollar we pay off in debt will increase our net worth dollar to dollar. At this stage in our lives eliminating our debt is our #1 priority. We learned that I have to go shopping for best prices on everything from car insurances to life and everything else. We are in the initial stages of starting a home based business. We prevented many financial leaks and were able save some money that way.
Our debt free date is Oct of 2018. That $2,000,000 of debt will be paid off is unbelievable!! We are ready to do anything to make that realistic. Our accelerator margin is only $2500, but we already paid off about $29,500 in about two months. We know it is only a drop in the ocean of our debt but it is good beginning. We paid off 2 credit cards completely and will be paying off 2 more in the next couple of months. We are not making any extra money at this time but we are spending wisely. We used to buy lunch and breakfast from outside most of the days, now we pack our lunch and saved about $600 in two months. Other expenses are also coming down.
